Why am I Receiving a 18005 Error?

After attempting to flash your unit with our firmware, you may receive a 18005 error.
This error code states:
This issue is typically noted with TP-Link devices.
The cause of this issue is either:
- Wrong firmware used to install
- Location lock on hardware issued by TP-Link
If you receive a 18005 error upon flashing your unit, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- Please ensure that the firmware used to flash the device matches the model/version/hardware number of the device. If the device firmware does not match the model unit, please re-flash the unit.
