URL Blocked - Redirect Fail Error. Why am I Getting This Error When I Try to Login?

This error code states:

“URL Blocked - This redirect failed because the URL is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure the client and we OAuth Login are on and add all app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URL’s”

If you've received this error, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.

Is your CNAME setup?

  1. Please verify that your Custom Social Portal is Active AND Enabled on your Branding Page in your MyWiFi Control Panel (Custom Domain)

  2. Ensure that your Social App settings are updated and point to your new domain, not mywifi.io  or securewifilogin.com (Social Integrations)
If your  Custom Social Portal is NOT setup, you will not see any apps you have created available in the Campaign. For Facebook you need to make sure that your Social Portal is enabled AND that your app is using your Social Portal URL for the OAuth Redirect. (Social Integrations)
